this foolishness and disobedience
this slavery to lust and pleasure
this life of evil and envy and hatred
for God has shown me His love
without limits or conditions
conquered me with His kindness
that melts this intolerant heart
granted me His mercy
tossing sin too far away to touch and
generously poured out His grace
I inhabit this
new life of the Spirit given me
through Christ
my Saviour
